A simple starting point: Use accounts and content you are authorized to access. Verify synchronized changes, keep backups, and review AI suggestions before acting.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service apply to Calendar Planner and this product website, provided by Velion Arc LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service. Contact support@zyntrixal.com with questions.

You must be legally able to enter this agreement, and have authority if acting for an organization. The service is not intended for children under 13. Mandatory consumer rights remain in effect.

2. The service

Calendar Planner is an independent macOS application for local events and tasks, connected Google Calendar and Google Tasks, calendars and reminders available through macOS, local notifications, and optional AI assistance. Available features depend on your app version, permissions, supported source operations, connectivity, and third-party services.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for its intended purpose, subject to these terms and any applicable distribution-platform license. This website provides product information, policies, and support contact details. It does not provide downloads or process purchases.

3. Accounts and permissions

Only connect accounts and use calendar or task content you are authorized to access. You are responsible for account and device security, your connection, and your choices of sources and permissions. Google and Apple account policies, organization restrictions, and source permissions also apply.

Supported write operations can change remote events and tasks. Check the selected account, source, date, time zone, and recurring-event scope before confirming. Read-only and unsupported items may be displayed without being editable. Disconnecting an account does not delete its remote events or tasks. Disconnecting locally and revoking authorization at Google are separate actions.

4. Your content and privacy

You retain your rights in events, tasks, messages, and other content. You authorize processing and transmission necessary to perform the features you request, including sending relevant context for an AI request. This does not transfer ownership of your content to us or authorize its sale. Our Privacy Policy explains information handling and available controls.

You must have the rights and permissions needed to use and submit content. Respect other people's intellectual property, privacy, and confidentiality, especially when schedules include information about others.

5. Synchronization, reminders, and backups

Keep independent backups of important information and verify changes in the relevant source service. A local mirror may be incomplete or out of date. Synchronization can be delayed or fail because of connectivity, permissions, source restrictions, conflicts, or provider availability. A pending change is not proof that the remote service accepted it.

Review destructive actions and recurring-event scope carefully. Closing the app, pausing a source, or disconnecting an account does not necessarily undo an operation already accepted remotely. Resolve pending operations using the app's available controls. We cannot guarantee recovery of deleted, overwritten, unsynchronized, or corrupted content.

Notifications depend on macOS permissions, system settings, app state, and scheduling conditions. Do not rely on the app as the only reminder for critical deadlines, emergencies, or safety-related events. These provisions do not limit obligations or remedies required by law.

6. AI features

AI is optional. When you use an assistant action, your request and relevant calendar or task context are sent to external services as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not submit passwords, access tokens, or content you are not authorized to share.

AI may provide inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading output. Review suggested times, summaries, and event drafts before saving or relying on them. AI does not guarantee that a time is free or that a plan is correct, and is not professional advice. You remain responsible for your decisions. Providers, models, availability, and usage limits may change.

7. Purchases and subscriptions, if offered

The current app does not implement in-app purchases or subscriptions. The following provisions apply only if a paid app, feature, or plan is actually offered through a distribution platform. The purchase screen must disclose price, taxes, features, billing period, trial conditions, and renewal rules before you agree. These terms do not authorize a charge without your agreement. This website does not collect payment details.

If an auto-renewing subscription is offered and you choose it, it renews under the terms disclosed at purchase until canceled through the billing platform. A trial may convert to a paid plan if disclosed. For Apple billing, see Apple's cancellation instructions and refund guidance. For other billing, use the provider on your receipt. Refund eligibility follows platform rules and applicable law.

Uninstalling the app, disconnecting Google, or emailing support does not itself cancel a platform subscription. Cancellation generally stops future renewal while access continues through the paid period, subject to the purchase terms and mandatory rights. A refund or reversal may end paid access. Cancellation does not instruct us to delete your remote calendars or tasks.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to violate the law or others' rights, distribute malicious content, gain unauthorized access, interfere with systems, evade security or usage limits, or misrepresent identity or authorization. Do not bypass security protections or reverse engineer except where applicable law expressly permits.

We may restrict hosted features where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, or legal obligations.

9. Third-party services and ownership

Google, Apple, Cloudflare, OpenRouter, model providers, and distribution platforms operate their own services under their own terms and policies. Their availability, account restrictions, APIs, and data practices can change.

Calendar Planner is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their owners. Application and website code, design, and branding remain the property of their respective rights holders. These terms do not transfer those rights.

10. Availability and ending use

We may improve, change, limit, or discontinue features and interrupt hosted services for maintenance or operational reasons, with notice where required. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or support for every source operation. Paid entitlements, if any, remain subject to their disclosed terms and mandatory protections.

You may stop using the app at any time. Separately manage any platform subscription, revoke authorizations, and delete local information as needed. See privacy controls. We may suspend hosted access for a material violation, security threat, or legal requirement. Where practical, we will explain and allow you to address the issue. This does not authorize us to erase your remote events or tasks.

11. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for problems caused by unauthorized account use, third-party service failures, or content you submit or act on.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

12. Updates and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date identifies this version, and additional notice will be provided where required. If you do not accept updated terms, discontinue use.

If a provision cannot be enforced, the remainder continues to apply. Mandatory law and consumer protections take precedence. Contact us first so we can try to resolve concerns.
